Wood

Wood sculpture and garden ornament, decorative and functional, depicting plants and animals and Celtic abstracts. Painted with rich color or treated natural wood finish, styles ranging from playful to elegant. Most sculpture is finished for outdoor use. New work includes studio furniture and carved vessels as I explore wood’s technical limits. Paintings and models reflect on-going experimentation with color and form later expressed in large carvings.
