Representational painting, often
vivid, bold, always colorful
Nathalie's deep relationship with nature moves through her brushes as she looks for secrets and mysteries that might emerge as scenes in her work. Worthington approaches her paintings with lively bold strokes; the underpainting- then layer after layer of color is laid on, with overall washes to tone and deepen the image. A vibrant likeness of landscapes, flowers, and animals emerges from the canvas. The pure act of painting is her passion, and her style is representational, painterly, impressionistic, and bold. The common theme in all of her paintings is mystery and light.
